Gothic Deluxe
Our two Gothic Deluxe Rooms at the Alchymist Nosticova Palace are situated on the Ground Floor. Both rooms are 25 square metres in size and feature exquisitely painted vaulted ceilings, hand-burnt clay floor tiles fromSpainand spacious bathrooms with a bath, toilet and bidet.
The Gothic Deluxe Rooms are named after 14th century figures: Václav IV (Wenceslas IV) and his first wife, Joanna of Bavaria. So the choice is yours; either you pick Wenceslas IV, son of Charles IV and known for being afraid of lightning and cats, well educated, indecisive and nicknamed “idle,” or Joanna of Bavaria, his first wife who was married to him at the age of 14, five years his senior, and known for learning Czech exceptionally fast.
